"Thanks
for the recent marketing strategy,
I love
reading them. Thought I would email you with a
promotion that we ran recently which bought fantastic
results. Long story short, we recently purchased a new
piece of equipment. Fairly expensive and obviously I
wanted to recoup some of my money to purchase it BEFORE
I had to pay for it!
I was a bit
wary about trying to get $1330 from people so close to
Christmas and the other thing was that I wanted the
money NOW but they don't start their treatments till
January. Anyway we proceeded with the letter and the
response has been great!!!
"We sent
the letter out to arrive to them on Monday and by
Tuesday AM we had a message on the answering machine.
In a little under a week we sold 10 packages at $1330
($13,300) and on top of that we made sure those clients
who had not purchased our skin care had a consult (which
was free) to purchase skin care necessary before
starting treatments. So we up-sold a bit over $2000 in
skin care to those same clients.

"Still having great success with your marketing
ideas...Our most recent promo received
fantastic results. The 1st week of the 2nd
school term I personally went around to every
local primary school in the area (would you
believe we have 13 in a 5 km radius) and gave
them between 30-50 x $10 voucher that they could
use for their Mothers Day stalls (450 in
total). I gave them each a letter and had them
done up in envelopes and ribbon. Every school
was excited to receive something that they had
not asked for. We had 54 return. Their average
spend was $45 (less the $10 voucher) and we
turned over $1890.00 We marked all the vouchers
so we knew what ones came from what school. We
had clients from every school visit
us. Every school also thanked us in their
newsletters and also had our business card (with
our website address prominently displayed) in
their newsletters leading up to Mothers Day.
Not a bad effort for 450 pieces of paper and 2
hours of my time. The result is priceless. We
managed to expose ourselves to every primary
school mother in the local area.
PS.
Just thought I would let you guys also know that
I am now getting about 97-125 hits per day on my
website. We are ranked 1 with MSN, 1 with Yahoo
and now 3 with Google!!! George will be
impressed with me I must be one of his star
students!!! We get at least 5 appointments a day
by website AND at least 1 of them is a new
client!!!!
Over the past 3 months I am also selling about
$400 per month on products and gift vouchers
online. This is something I have not even really
touched on but know I really need to."
